In 2013, nearly 216,000 people were diagnosed with leprosy. One in nine of these were children. It is estimated that there are up to two million more people who have not yet been diagnosed.

By taking on a new challenge and fundraising for us, you’ll be helping us fight neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) like leprosy and tackle issues of poverty and prejudice surrounding these diseases.

How your money helps

Join hundreds of volunteers who have raised an incredible amount of money for us in the past.

The money you raise will go towards fighting the stigma surrounding disease like leprosy, pushing for earlier detection and diagnosis, and helping people to deal with long-term disabilities caused by disease.

 - David Taylor

"All-in-all it proved most amazing, uplifting and thought provoking. If you believe that life is for sampling as many different experiences as possible - then this is one such experience not to be missed. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner."

 - David Brayshaw

"The whole experience of riding for Lepra was exceptional.  It is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

– Ian Donaldson

"My trip to India will leave me with a lifetime of memories. Everyday just kept getting better”

 - Marjorie Johnston

“It was great to take part in the Ride-100 challenge raising money for Lepra. When else do you get to cycle on completely closed, traffic free roads with over 20,000 fellow cyclists?”

– James Glasspool

“I was lucky to have Lepra’s support throughout this event. To know that I was doing the ride for a good cause and a noteworthy charity made it even more special. I would like to say a big thank you to Lepra for doing a fabulous job of helping people and for making me a part of this memorable experience.“
