WHO WE ARE

Student Placement Opportunities

Hello students!

Are you passionate about making a difference in global health? Are you eager to kickstart your career in the development sector? Join our team of dedicated volunteers and become part of our mission to engage with local communities and drive positive change.

Sharna Bala - A person affected by leprosy who following successful treatment, volunteered to support other members of her community who have also been impacted by the disease, by educating people on the importance of regular self-care, and giving others the confidence and courage to complete their treatment.

Welcome to Lepra, an international non-governmental organisation (INGO) headquartered in Colchester. We are dedicated to providing treatment and support to individuals affected by leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) in India and Bangladesh. While our focus lies on fundraising, awareness-raising, and programme management in the UK office, our impact resonates globally.
