Raffle terms and conditions

The raffle is only open to residents of the United Kingdom and excludes Lepra employees, close relatives of any employee/trustee of Lepra and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.

To enter the raffle tickets must be purchased online at the cost of £10 per ticket. All proceeds will go directly to Lepra registered charity number: 21351 (England and Wales) SC039715 (Scotland).

There is no maximum limit of tickets that can be purchased.

Tickets must not be sold with a discount.

The raffle is open from Tuesday 23rd February 2016 until 4pm on Monday 14th March 2016. Any raffle tickets purchased after this date will not be entered into the draw, and will be considered as a donation.

Two winners will be drawn by a third party on Tuesday 15th March 2016 and winners will be contacted via email or telephone shortly after.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within three days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The prize is as follows:

  • 2x pairs of tickets to attend The Patron’s Lunch taking place on The Mall on Sunday 12th June 2016. Full details of event and ticketing terms and conditions can be found at: http://www.thepatronslunch.com/

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and due to The Patron’s Lunch being such a unique event, no alternative prize will be offered.

The winner will need to arrange their own transport to the event, this will not be covered by Lepra. If accommodation is required this will need to be arranged by the winner, this will not be covered by Lepra. 

It is Lepra’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition, the decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Lepra will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Lepra reserves the right to cancel or amend the raffle and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Lepra’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by the Lepra website www.lepra.org.uk.

Lepra is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this raffle.

The raffle and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Lepra and The Patrons Lunch Events Limited for security checks and ticketing purposes, and not to any other party. This raffle is licenced by Colchester Borough Council as a Non-Commercial Society under the Gambling Act 2005, Registration number: 015644

The Patron’s Lunch ticketing terms and conditions

Lepra will need to provide The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited with the full contact details of each ticket holder. You agree to us sharing this information with The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited, and providing any further contact details if required by Lepra or The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited.

Final details for tickets will need to be submitted by Lepra to The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited by Monday 21st March 2016, therefore we request to have the information by Thursday 17th March 2016.

Ticket location on The Mall will be confirmed in May 2016.

E-tickets, including supporting information, will be distributed directly to each ticket holder.

Tickets are non-transferable once ticket holder details have been submitted and therefore must not be sold on to other people. Photographic proof of identity (passport/driving licence) matching the details on the ticket, will be required on entry to The Mall.

If a ticket holder can no longer attend (even at the last moment), please inform The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited immediately. If notified before 48 hours of the event, the tickets can be reallocated, subject to receiving full contact details as required by The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited. The original ticket holder will be required to provide updated ticket holder details by emailing info@thepatronslunch.com. Additional security measures on arrival to The Mall may apply.

All ticket applications and attendance on the day is subject to necessary security checks. The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited reserves the right to refuse entry.

All transport (to and from The Mall) and accommodation costs to be covered by the ticket holder.

Tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets remain the property of The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited.

The Patron’s Lunch Events Limited decision is final.
