Kate Crabtree

Kate has been a professional fundraiser for almost 20 years, working for both UK and international NGOs including Terrence Higgins Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and Unicef UK. She currently works for Comic Relief, where she is responsible for setting and delivering the strategy to secure new high-value partnerships that drive income and reach for the charity.

Kate brings experience of a variety of fundraising disciplines, including challenge events, special events, philanthropy and corporate partnerships. She has developed and led fundraising strategies for different income streams, and has worked with committees and development boards to help drive organisational objectives and growth. Kate has mentored a number of fundraising professionals, and currently also sits on the committee of a local school Parents Association.

She is deeply passionate about driving positive change and making a difference – particularly for those who are living the hardest of lives and on the sharpest end of discrimination. She’s a proud fundraiser and finds inspiration in the stories of the impact that those funds have had.
