In August 2018 Nick became Director of Resources at Lepra.
After graduating in Chemistry from Oxford, his early career encompassed IT, finance, audit and compliance roles in the retail, financial services and gaming industries. During this time his work took him to Malawi, Kenya, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Russia and Singapore and also included being called as an expert witness on money laundering in the gambling industry. He qualified as an accountant in 1991.
More recently he was Head of Audit & Risk Management at Leonard Cheshire Disability for four years and joined Lepra after four years as a director of KCG, a risk and audit consultancy specializing in higher education. His responsibilities included being the Head of Internal Audit for LSHTM, as well as leading KCG’s IT and data analytics practices. He is Chair of Trustees for Age Concern Colchester and sits on the Audit and Finance Committee of Camphill Village Trust.
