Supporter Engagement and Events Lead (35 hours per week)

£19,000 per annum plus benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supporter Engagement and Events Lead who as part of the Communications and Fundraising Team works to drive income generation and increase Lepra’s profile within regional communities by engaging, inspiring and developing a new demographic of supporters alongside the retention of an existing and loyal supporter base.

As Supporter Engagement and Events Lead you will devise, promote and execute a range of relevant engagement events, activities and programmes which appeals to existing supporters, whilst reaching a new donor audience, to maximise fundraising opportunities.

The role leads on the development of Lepra’s University strategy, build fundraising relationships within the corporate sector and supports the development of Lepra’s ‘Ambassadors’ programme.


Essential requirements to the role

  • Educated to A level or NVQ3 level or equivalent experience
  • Full valid UK driving licence   

This post is full-time and based in our Colchester office.  There will be a requirement to attend out of hours events in the evening or the weekend.  The ability to travel in the UK (and occasionally overseas) is required.

This role requires the successful applicant to apply for a basic DBS check. Appointment and ongoing employment will be subject to a clear check being received.
