**Matched Giving Target Reached!**
We are thrilled to announce that we’ve smashed our matched giving target! Thanks to our incredible supporters, over £45,000 of donations have been doubled. While the matching pot is now full, our Winter Appeal continues. Please donate today to help us reach our final goal and support even more people in need this winter.
£1 from you, we get 2 Appeal Terms and Conditions:
During our Winter Appeal (5 November 2025 – 31 March 2026), eligible donations will be matched pound for pound until our matched funding pot is fully exhausted.
Matched funding
- The matched funding pot is £43,895 (this may increase if further matched-funding donations are received).
- Donations received during the Appeal Period will be matched until this pot is allocated.
- Once the pot is fully allocated, any further donations made during the Appeal Period will not be matched but will still be gratefully received and used to support Lepra’s work.
Eligible donations
- Only voluntary donations made directly to Lepra for this appeal are eligible for matching.
- Donations from companies, trusts, foundations, payroll giving schemes, legacies, or restricted funds are not normally eligible unless agreed by Lepra in advance.
- For third-party fundraising platforms, eligibility is based on the date Lepra receives the funds.
Gift Aid
- Gift Aid is not matched.
- Matching applies only to the donation amount, not to reclaimed tax.
Use of funds
- All donations (matched and unmatched) will be used to support Lepra’s charitable work and allocated where the need is greatest unless stated otherwise.
Transparency and reporting
- Lepra will publish a running total of remaining matched funds, but this may not always reflect real-time balances.
- Final totals for donations and matched funding will be reported after the Appeal closes.
Amendments
- Lepra may amend these Terms and Conditions where required to comply with legal, regulatory, or fundraising standards.
