Sonia and the rest of her family were diagnosed with leprosy. All in the early stages of the disease, they were able to complete treatment without there being any lasting physical effects. Read Sonia’s story today to see how your fundraising can make a difference.
My name is Doug Neville and I am the Head of Year 7 at St Michael's Church of England High School in Chorley. We have had a long-standing relationship with Lepra going back many years and. Last year, we were inspired by the Move for Lepra challenge and our pupils walked the length of India, 1997 miles, around the school field over a three-week period. The support and encouragement provided by Lepra was excellent and we not only achieved our goal but also raised almost £1800 in doing so.
