As part of the New Face for Leprosy Exhibition at Colchester Library, Lepra Historian and author Irene Allen will give an illuminating talk on the history of Lepra.
Join us on Wednesday 21 October 2026 4pm to hear Irene present a fascinating insight into the history of the charity, its incredible achievements and the remarkable stories from the individuals who have redefined leprosy care over the decades.
A New Face for Leprosy Exhibition seeks to challenge and dispel the myths associated with this often-misunderstood disease. Take a look at the inspiring photographs taken by Tom Bradley and read the real-life stories from people affected by leprosy.
