One Lepra Last week, we were delighted to welcome our Lepra India colleagues to Colchester. We spent a few days discussing our ongoing commitment to changing the lives of those affected by leprosy. Some of our staff, from both Lepra UK and Lepra India, attended the Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network forum in Liverpool. Paul Watson, programmes director, Rajni, Bihar State Coordinator, Dr Aparna, head of research, Jayaram, head of programmes in India and Naveen, State Coordinator in Madhya Pradesh all attended the conference in Liverpool. The conference was an important opportunity to discuss the one billion people in the world who continue to be affected by neglected tropical diseases. In Colchester, they were joined by our other Lepra India colleagues Kasturi, head of resource mobilisation, Pritha, state coordinator for Odisha and Radhika, state coordinator for Andhra Pradesh. Lepra India’s visit to Colchester involved many strategy meetings, with both teams trying to find the best way to further integrate our operations. Lepra are committed to helping those affected by leprosy in India and we want to continue fostering our relationship with our colleagues in India. It wasn’t simply business with our colleagues from India visiting, our colleagues enjoyed days out with our Lepra UK staff, Nick Avery acting as tour guide. We welcome your next visit to us in the UK!
