We’ve talked about it for months, we’re sure you’ve been waiting for it and now it’s finally here…our BBC Radio 4 Appeal.

This Sunday you’ll be able to listen in to Victoria Hislop, our ambassador, as she explains how leprosy can severely change a person’s life on the BBC Radio 4 Appeals programme. This is a weekly slot on the station which highlights the work of a UK charity each week.

We've been lucky enough to have Victoria present our appeal and you'll be able to hear her explain just what it is we do to help those affected by leprosy and how you can join us in transforming lives. More specifically she’ll be telling the story of a young girl called Kajal. She was diagnosed with leprosy at 13 years old and although we have been able to help her, her life has been forever changed.

For early risers you can catch the appeal on Sunday, that's the 15th of January, at 7:55am but for those who love a weekend lie in, we’ll be on again at 9:25pm and then on Thursday 19th of January at 3:25pm. If you happen to miss all three time slots then just click here to go through to the BBC Radio 4 Appeals page and listen online.

Don’t forget to tell your family, friends and co-workers and, after you’ve had a listen, get in touch and let us know what you thought!
