Professor Diana Lockwood

Diana Lockwood is an infectious disease physician and was until recently the only UK leprologist, providing a national referral service for leprosy patients in Britain. She has also worked overseas in Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and in the Blue Peter Research Centre we set up in Hyderabad.

Diana was the editor of Leprosy Review from 1996 to 2012 and leads a global leprosy research team at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Diana is a keen cyclist and in 2011 cycled from Lhasa to Kathmandu.
